NBC has added six more boardroom advisors for the upcoming season of “The New Celebrity Apprentice.” Rocco DiSpirito, Tracey Edmonds, Justine “iJustine” Ezarik, previous “Celebrity Apprentice” winner Leeza Gibbons, Gemma Godfrey, and Bob Harper will all be on hand to help host Arnold Schwarzenegger evaluate the contestants this season.
The new batch joins previously announced advisors Warren Buffett, Steve Ballmer, Tyra Banks, Jessica Alba, and Patrick Knapp Schwarzenegger. DiSpirito, Edmonds, Harper, and Gibbons are already known TV quantities. Ezarik comes from the world of digital influencers. Godfrey comes from the financial technology sector in the U.K., where she founded online personal finance firm Moola.
“The New Celebrity Apprentice” will premiere Jan. 2, with two episodes. After being divided into two teams (men and women), the new Apprentices’ first task will be to create a 10-minute “experience” for Tyra Banks’ TYRA Beauty, followed by the creation of a jingle (and video) for Trident’s “Cherish Your Teeth” ad campaign. Competing in the new season of the “Celebrity Apprentice” franchise are Laila Ali, Brooke Burke-Charvet, Eric Dickerson, Boy George, Matt Iseman, Carrie Keagan, Carson Kressley, Lisa Leslie, Jon Lovitz, Vince Neil, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Kyle Richards, Chael Sonnen, Porsha Williams, Ricky Williams and Carnie Wilson.
