Hot off her Super Bowl performance and world tour announcement, Lady Gaga will duet with Metallica at the 2017 Grammys.
The Recording Academy recently announced Demi Lovato, Andra Day, and Tori Kelly will perform a tribute to the Bee Gees at the ceremony. Lukas Graham and Katy Perry were also confirmed to perform, and the show will also include tributes to Prince and George Michael.
The extensive lineup for the 2017 awards also includes Adele, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Chance the Rapper, Little Big Town, Sturgill Simpson, William Bell and Gary Clark Jr. Maren Morris and Alicia Keys will duet together, Anderson .Paak will join A Tribe Called Quest and Dave Grohl, and the Weeknd will team up with Daft Punk.
At last year’s Grammys, Gaga performed a memorable and moving tribute to the late David Bowie. The pop star is a six-time Grammy winner, most recently in 2015 for her Tony Bennett collaboration “Cheek to Cheek.” Metallica has won nine Grammys since 1990, and are nominated this year in the best rock song category.
Gaga recently captured eyeballs and headlines for her high-flying Super Bowl halftime show. In her review for Variety critic Sonia Saraiya wrote, “In a competent but disconnected performance, Lady Gaga performed years-old hits while steadfastly avoiding making a statement.”

Late Sunday night, Gaga followed up her performance a la Beyonce in 2016 by launching a world tour announcement to promote her latest album “Joanne.” Tickets for the first leg of the tour go on sale Feb. 13, with tickets for the second stretch available starting a week later. Gaga also announced on Tuesday that she will appear on the Season 9 premiere of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
The 2017 Grammys, hosted by James Corden at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, will air Feb. 12 on CBS.
