What a night for Elizabeth Banks. The Pittsfield-bred actress first made quite the entrance onto the DNC stage and spoke to the convention about her Massachusetts roots. Not long after, she debuted a music video she directed in support of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
Banks gave a nod to the Pitch Perfect films by gathering a whole bunch of celebrities — several of whom are cast members of the movies — to sing an a cappella version of Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song.” Platten, another Massachusetts native, is among the many recognizable faces in the video, as are Jane Fonda, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eva Longoria, Connie Britton, Kristin Chenoweth, and many others.
