Ben Affleck’s son had an accidental playdate with the royal family

Some might consider Ben Affleck and Matt Damon to be Boston royalty. But Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s son hung out with actual royalty earlier this year while Affleck was shooting Justice League in London, Affleck explained on Friday’s episode of The Graham Norton Show.

Affleck said that he and his kids had spent the day doing some sightseeing when it started raining, so he took his youngest son to an indoor kids’ play park.

“I noticed this weird vibe from some of the other grown-ups that were there,” Affleck said. “They were all really well-dressed, had suits on. And then I saw that some of them they had headpieces in, and I thought, ‘Wow, Kidnasium is tight!’ … I was the last person in there for sure to realize that the royal George and Charlotte, those kids were in there playing, and my son was in there playing.”

Affleck quipped: “Now I can tell [my son], ‘You got a cold from the King of England.’”
