James Corden has always been a polarising figure in the UK, but his make-or-break leap to late-night American television in 2015 has turned him into an unexpectedly hot commodity on both sides of the Atlantic. So his return to British shores, with a week of special London-filmed episodes of his Late Late Show screening nightly on Sky 1, has unsurprisingly amassed an array of A-list guests.

Sky 1 has announced the star-studded line-up for the week of shows, which will include appearances from David Beckham, Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt, Russell Brand, Jennifer Hudson and Kit Harington, along with musical performances from Harry Styles and Kings of Leon.

Corden is also bringing to the UK his incredibly successful Carpool Karaoke skit, which has seen stars including Adele, Mariah Carey and Britney Spears singing along to their past hits while helping him drive to work. For his British Late Late debut, Corden is being joined by Ed Sheeran.

The three special episodes will screen 7-9 June at 10pm on Sky 1 and NOW TV, before airing a few hours later on Corden's American home of CBS.

Corden previously said in a statement that he was excited to take his show on the road.

"To bring The Late Late Show to the UK is a dream come true for me," he said. "I'm incredibly proud of the show and we're going to do our best to make this week in London memorable."
