Movie watch: Keanu believe it?

Another Matrix film? Surely the two overblown, underperforming sequels meant there was no way back for Neo, Trinity and the whole mind-bending malarkey. Apparently not. Fourteen years on, in which time academics at Oxford and MIT have even hypothesised that we may all be living in a Matrix-like simulation, the franchise is to be rebooted. It doesn’t look like it will involve either the Wachowskis, the directors of the original trilogy, or Keanu Reeves who played the bullet-dodging Neo. Instead, Michael B Jordan (Creed, Fantastic Four) is being tipped to don the black overcoat and shades in the new film, with Zak Penn (The Avengers and X-Men) writing a treatment of the script.
