Spring fashion inspiration will come in many forms by the looks of the lineup for Fashion Week MN.

Since debuting in the fall of 2015, the biannual event has almost two dozen events on the calendar. They include St. Paul events this time around, including fashion shows featuring local boutiques, fashion presentations at a Selby Avenue salon and shopping extravaganzas.

Here’s the lineup for spring fashion week, April 20 to 29. For additional details including ticketing information, visit fashionweekmn.com.

“THE WEATHER DIARIES” 

Ongoing through July 2: This photographic exhibition/installation exploring West Nordic fashion, culture and nature is an ongoing exhibit. During Fashion Week MN, the exhibition produced by The Nordic House in Reykjavik will also be available for viewing during the Black Hearts Ball fashion show on April 28, also at American Swedish Institute. Museum hours; American Swedish Institute, 2600 Park Ave., Minneapolis.

MINNSTAFASHION: OFFICIAL FASHION WEEK MN KICKOFF EVENT

April 20: Fashion Week MN Spring 2017 kicks off with an evening of music and cocktails while shopping local boutiques and artisan jewelry/accessories and checking out fashion from local emerging designers and tastemakers. Interactive, social-media themed event is 21+. 7-10 p.m.; W Minneapolis — The Foshay, 821 Marquette Ave., Minneapolis; free

ENVISION: SPRING 2017 RUNWAY SHOW

April 21: Spring/Summer collections from about a dozen local designers and boutiques hit the runway for this fashion week regular that is always glamorous and well-produced. A portion of event proceeds, 100 percent of silent auction sales and $1 of every presale ticket will benefit local art nonprofit Public Functionary. 8-11 p.m.; Machine Shop, 300 Second St. S.E., Minneapolis; tickets starting at $25.

MINNEAPOLIS CRAFT MARKET X FASHION WEEK MN

April 22: Shop more than two dozen local designers, including those featured at shows throughout the week during spring Fashion Week MN. 11 a.m.-4 p.m.; Modist Brewing, 505 N. Third St., Minneapolis; free.

SAINT PAUL COLLECTION FASHION SHOW

APRIL 22: The spotlight is on unique, high-end boutiques as well as jewelry stores in St. Paul. Participating boutiques include Flirt Boutique, Valise Boutique & Apothecary, Atelier957 and Heimie’s Haberdashery. Proceeds from the St. Paul-centric event will be donated to Gillette Children’s Hospital and Clinics. 6-9 p.m.; The University Club of St. Paul, 420 Summit Ave., St. Paul; tickets starting at $60.

HER MINNEAPOLIS LAUNCH PARTY

April 22: Users of the app HER, which connects LGBTQ women, are invited to attend this launch event featuring craft cocktails, photo ops and live music. The event is 21+. 7 p.m.-1 a.m.; Constantine at Hotel Ivy, 1115 Second Ave. S., Minneapolis; tickets are $10 advance, $15 at the door. 

MIND-FULL: BY ALISSA PARIS + STACIE YOKIEL

April 22: Local Dancer/choreographer Alissa Paris of Energy Dance Collective joins forces with award-winning fashion artist Stacie Yokiel of Kozol for this presentation featuring the art of movement, fashion and exploration of relationship to Mother Earth. 8 p.m.; Gem Salon and Spa, 526 Selby Ave., St Paul; tickets to be announced.

I AM FABULOUS! BRUNCH & FASHION EVENT

April 23: Women  50 and older are the stars of this fashion show. A brunch, pop-up shops, live music and giveaways are also part of the lineup in this show produced by Sarah Edwards. 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; Hewing Hotel, 300 N. Washington Ave., Minneapolis; tickets starting at $10 without brunch, $40 with brunch.

CLICHÉ’S CROSSWALK

April 23: Expect a traveling fashion show in which the crosswalk will be used as the catwalk. The show includes spring collections from local designers Danielle Everine and Jenny Carle. Shopping is also in store for the event hosted at the local boutique. 2 to 5 p.m., Cliche, 2403 Lyndale Ave. S., Minneapolis; free.

QUEEN ANNA GRAND OPENING PARTY

April 23: Nicole Jennings, founder/CEO of Minneapolis-based, luxury concierge boutique One Posh Closet, is launching her latest venture, a women’s boutique called Queen Anna, during Fashion Week MN. Cocktails, small bites and live music are part of the event. 5:30-7 p.m., Queen Anna Boutique, 109 N. 2nd St., Minneapolis; free.

BLACK MAGIK WOMAN III

April 24: The all-female photography and artist event will showcase images and art pieces from 15 all-female teams during this third annual exhibition. Live music, dance and cocktails are also on tap. 6-10 p.m.; Norseman Distillery, 451 Taft St. N.E., Minneapolis; free, RSVP recommended.

JOYNOËLLE: FUNGI: BEAUTY FROM DECAY

April 25: Pieces from Joynoëlle’s 2017 collection, Fungi: Beauty from Decay, explores the world of mycology and nature’s ability to create new life from decomposition. Designer Joy Teiken’s many hikes in the Otter Tail County woods near her cabin provided the inspiration. Proceeds from the mix-and-mingle event and runway presentation will benefit local nonprofit killkancer.org. 6-9 p.m., ARIA, 105 N. First St., Minneapolis; tickets starting at $15.

FGI OF MSP PRESENTS ONLINE/OFFLINE: THE BUSINESS OF FASHION

April 25: The local chapter of Fashion Group International hosts this panel event exploring the business of fashion. The panel includes: Allison Kaplan, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine Senior Style & Shopping Editor; Emily Baynard, Creative & Business Strategist, Founder & Owner of Emmi Ro Creative; Alexis Walsko, owner Lola Red Public Relations; and Vanessa McDuffie, blogger/wardrobe stylist. 6-8 p.m.,;The Bachelor Farmer, second level event space, 50 N. Second Ave., Minneapolis; general admission $25.

LA CHOUCHOU PRESENTS LIVE FASHION GALLERY

April 26: Six designers, each showing four looks, will be spotlighted in this gallery-style fashion presentation. Small bites featuring Food Building artisans is part of the evening. 7-9 p.m.; Food Building, 1401 Marshall St. N.E., Minneapolis; tickets $25.

HAZEL & ROSE PRESENTS #WHOMADEMYCLOTHES?

April 27: A local boutique educates attendees in this “Who made my clothes?”- themed interactive fashion show exploring how and who makes pieces in the fashion industry. Shopping is included. RAUL OSORIO SS17 COLLECTION PRESENTATION

April 27: Following its premiere in Honduras, Minneapolis-based menswear designer and Project Runway alum Raul Osorio unveils his Spring/Summer 2017 collection locally during this fashion presentation. 8-10 p.m.; JETSET bar, 115 N. First St., Minneapolis; free.

ART IN BLOOM FASHION SHOW & LUNCHEON

April 28: Minneapolis Institute of Art’s annual Art in Bloom festival includes a fashion show spotlighting 2017 spring trends as exhibited through designers and pieces from the Galleria in Edina. The event is produced by stylist Grant Whittaker and includes a luncheon. Noon-2:30 p.m., Minneapolis Institute of Art, 2400 Third Ave. S., Minneapolis; tickets $85.

TIM + THOM PRESENT BLACK HEARTS BALL

April 28: A glam, black-and-white formal affair and fashion event closes a week of fashion shows during Fashion Week MN. The fourth annual Black Hearts Ball spotlights lesser-known local designers, opera, diversity and culture. 8 p.m.; American Swedish Institute, 2600 Park Ave., Minneapolis; tickets starting at $40.

5TH ANNUAL HAMMS EVENT

April 29: The 5th annual HAMMS (Help A Minnesota Maker Succeed) Event is a chance to shop Minnesota makers. Look for more than three dozen vendors at the shop, food and drink event at the new City House in St. Paul. A portion of ticket sales and donations is awarded to a Minnesota maker to help invest in their work. 10 a.m.-5 p.m., City House, 258 Mill St., St. Paul; $10 online, $15 at the door.

WINSOME GOODS MARKET

April 29: The new Winsome Goods Flagship store hosts this market featuring items by unique Minneapolis brands, including women’s clothing line Winsome Goods. 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; Winsome Goods Flagship, 201 Sixth St. S.E., Minneapolis; free.

FEMINIST IMPROV FOR FASHION REVOLUTION DAY: #IMADEYOURCLOTHES

April 29: In partnership with Fashion Revolution Week and the #WHOMADEMYCLOTHES campaign, this shopping event hosted by the Uptown boutique Showroom spotlights designers and their spring collections as well as pieces from local makers. The event includes body-positive performances by a feminist comedy improv group. 5-8 p.m., Showroom, 615 W. Lake St., Minneapolis; free.

CULTURE PIECE MAGAZINE PRESENTS: MELATONIN

April 29: Culture Piece Magazine presents its inaugural fashion presentation with an emphasis on culture and people of color models, designers, hairstylists and more. The event from the art, culture, music and life magazine will also include special performances. 7-9 p.m.; Le Meridien Chambers Minneapolis, 901 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis; $20 general admission tickets remained at presstime.
