TV & Streaming Details Set for Men's Worlds

Tournament Set for May 5-21 in Cologne, Germany, and Paris, France

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Hockey announced today that all Team USA games of the 2017 IIHF Men's World Championship will be televised live across NBCSN and NHL Network, and live streamed on NBCSports.com, and the NBC Sports app.

The 2017 IIHF Men's World Championship is set for May 5-21 in Cologne, Germany, and Paris, France. Team USA is in Group A with Russia, Sweden, Slovakia, Germany, Latvia, Denmark and Italy, and will play its preliminary round games at LANXESS Arena in Cologne. Group B, which includes Canada, Finland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Belarus, Norway, France and Slovenia, will contest its preliminary round games at AccorHotels Arena in Paris.

All total, the two networks will combine to televise 29 games in the preliminary round of the tournament as well as all four quarterfinal games, both semifinals, and the bronze- and gold -medal games.

Team USA begins play on Friday, May 5, against host Germany. Opening faceoff is set for 8 p.m. local (2 p.m. ET) live on NHL Network from LANXESS Arena in Cologne.
