British pop star Ed Sheeran got the Carpool Karaoke treatment Tuesday, following in the footsteps of fellow crooners like Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, and Mariah Carey.

Sheeran and Corden ran through some of the singer’s biggest hits, including “Shape of You,” “Sing,” and “Castle on the Hill.”

The duo also engaged in some of the fun shenanigans typical of a Carpool Karaoke segment, holding a competition to see who could stuff the most Maltesers — a chocolate malt ball candy sold in the United Kingdom — in their mouths at once. While Corden topped out at 26, Sheeran managed to stuff 55 in his mouth.

They also sang a rendition of Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself,” which Sheeran wrote, and Sheeran retold an outrageous story about trying to hit a golf ball out of Bieber’s mouth while drunk and smashing Bieber in the face instead. Sheeran insisted that despite making pretty solid contact, Bieber was “actually really cool about it.”

“He was like, ‘Ah, bro, ow,'” Sheeran said, “and then just carried on.”
